Rail to Truck Transloading

In our privately owned rail transload yard, we meet Hazmat and TDG specification.

We have extensive experience in transloading all manner of bulk materials at the Sands Bulk Terminal. Our privately owned rail transload yard meets hazmat TDG specifications for bulk liquids, dry bulk and super sack handling and has the capacity for 40 rail car spots over 12 acres.

In our eight-acre laydown yard, we can store large in-transit items such as storage tanks, trailers, bridge decking, heavy equipment and much more. Sands Bulk also has dry storage Quonset huts we use to keep customer inventory out of the elements.

To meet mobile transfer needs, we recently added custom-designed mobile trans loader units and mobile refuelling units for equipment and aircraft to our lineup.

We’ve also expanded our service to include remote sites, which we service with our self-contained specialty equipment. Now, regardless of your location, Sands Bulk can offload your diesel and aviation fuels and chemicals from rail cars into fuel trucks.
